Remodeling and home inspection, done right and done by one team.
Nickel City Design handles kitchen, bath, and flooring remodels alongside electrical, plumbing, and water damage repair, backed by our own licensed home inspection team at NCHI.
See the kind of work we do.
Real projects, not stock photos. This section fills in with our own photography as we add it — the labels below are a preview of the layout, not the final content.
What We Do
Eight services, one point of contact. Everything below is coordinated as part of the same project instead of handed off between separate contractors.
Kitchen Remodeling
Full kitchen renovations, from layout and cabinetry to countertops and finish work.
Bathroom Remodeling
Bright, modern bathrooms built around fixtures, tile, and a layout that fits how you live.
Flooring Installation
Flooring installed clean and level, matched to the rest of your remodel.
Home Inspection (NCHI)
Licensed home inspections through Nickel City Home Inspection, for buying, selling, or peace of mind.
Basement Remodel
Unfinished basements turned into real living space, framed, insulated, and finished to match the rest of your home.
Electrical
Switches, receptacles, and lighting handled as part of your remodel, so electrical never holds up the schedule.
Plumbing
Fixture installs and supply and drain line work, coordinated with the rest of your project.
Water Damage Repair
Drying out, repairing, and rebuilding after a leak or flood, folded into your remodel scope.
Our mission is to transform houses into homes.
We deliver high-quality remodeling and inspection services rooted in craftsmanship, technology, and trust, serving Western New York families with integrity and attention to detail.
Hi, I’m Marcelo DeFreitas.
I own and run Nickel City Design. Family-owned and Buffalo-based, when you call NCD you’re talking to me directly, the same person who shows up on your job site, not a call center.
